I helped organize a workshop at CHI 2024 called Toward a More Comprehensive Understanding of
Visualization Literacy.
We All Code
We All Code is a nonprofit organization that provides free coding
classes
for youth ages 7 to 17. I have been volunteering with We All Code since I moved to Chicago, and have really
enjoyed introducing
children and their parents to web development and robotics.

I was a computer science student departmental
advisor at Carleton. I was appointed by the department as a representative of the department, and
helped advise students and organize community-building events.

I spent three years as the co-chair of Lovelace, Carleton's organization for promoting gender diversity in computing. I helped organize workshops, talks, dinners, a mentorship program, and weekly homework help sessions.

I worked as a peer leader for the Office of Intercultural and International life, where I mentored first year students and organized campus events including discussions about immigration and diversity.

I was an instructor and program director for the Girls Who Code program in Northfield, MN and Faribault, MN.
