Hi! I'm Maryam Hedayati, and I'm a member of the Teaching Faculty in the Computer Science Department at Princeton University. My research interests are in human-computer interaction and data visualization.

I completed my PhD in Computer Science and Learning Sciences at Northwestern University, where I was part of the MU Collective lab. Before that, I received a B.A. from Carleton College in computer science and psychology, and did research with the Carleton Perception Lab. I also spent a year working as a tech consultant at Pariveda Solutions in New York, and was a staff member on two iterations of a computer science study abroad program in the UK. Outside of work, I enjoy watching musicals, sending postcards, drinking tea, sewing, and hanging out with my cat.

You can reach me at mhedayati [at] princeton.edu. Feel free to send a follow-up if I am slow to respond!
